Trucker Fail

There's this really hilarious site out there in the Wide World of the Web called FailBlog. Plain and simple, it's fantastic. People submit pictures or videos or some interesting and epic fails. While Nolan and I were driving around Logan last week we found our own little contribution for the site.

All sorts of stuff...

All sorts of things have been going on the past few weeks. First of all, today I had stake conference. Normally I would take the opportunity to sleep in and consider it a freebie day from dressing up and sitting in hard chairs for two hours. Today was different though because our speaker was Elder Dallin H. Oaks. It was a great meeting and Elder Oaks gave an incredible talk on personal revelation. I've always enjoyed listening to him speak but it was a wonderful experience to see him in person and see what a wonderful sense of humor he has.
Next on my list of recent happenings, school is out!! Finals were last week and after hours of studying and lots of support from my wonderful husband I made it through without my brain exploding. It was close though. Check out the flash cards I had to make and memorize.

After my last final Nolan took me to Ruby Tuesday's to celebrate. At least that's what he said, I think he just really wanted some of their awesome Queso!

Lastly, a few weeks ago we went up to Pocatello to see Jeff Dunham with Kendra and Cody. We grabbed some food at Texas Roadhouse and then headed to the show. We had a great time and laughed our guts out. Achmed the Dead Terrorist is my favorite! Here are a few photos from the show.

I'm so glad that I've finally got a break. I'm planning on finishing the 20 or so books that have been waiting for me, watching 2 seasons of 24, cleaning out my back bedroom/storage room and doing a whole bunch of other odds and ends that have been pushed aside. If anyone else has any other awesome ideas on how I can spend my free time let me know!

Computer Bling

Okay, if you've seen Confessions of a Shopaholic then maybe you noticed this.

That's right, Rebecca Bloomwood has a pink mac! How is this possible? That's exactly what I wanted to know so I Googled it! It turns out that there is company called Speck Products that makes see-thru hard-case covers for Macs. Amazon has them and there are a bunch of different colors! After struggling with the choice for a few hours I decided to go with the red one. Here it is!

My camera/the lighting in our cave of an apartment do not do it justice cause it totally looks awesome! That's right, I bought bling for my computer!

An Exercise in Frustration

Lisa calls these an exercise in frustration. While I really like the phrase I have to disagree with her. For some reason I find it very soothing/relaxing to make the pieces fit together. Call me crazy, but this is what I did over Spring Break. I locked myself in with two seasons of CSI:NY a lot of Dr. Pepper, a bag of M&M's and worked on these puzzles. It was a great Spring Break!

Disneyland!

Finally, here are some pictures of our trip. Most of these were taken by Nolan on his phone and he seems to have developed a phobia of having his picture taken so it was hard to get any of him. Once we finally got into the park we had a really good time. The weather was fantastic. Apparantly it was a record high for that area in February. We rode our favorite rides a few times and a few others that we missed last year. We mostly just took it slow and really enjoyed ourselves. We found this yummy mexican place in Frontierland last year so we ate our lunch there both days. Our hotel had a really awesome jetted tub that I wish I'd taken a picture of and was really relaxing after walking around the park all day. The hotel also had a really yummy breakfast bar so between that, the mexican place and the multiple Churros consumed, we were very well fed on our trip. It was a great trip and it was really nice just to get Nolan away from work so he could relax and unwind.
