Steroids

I thought this was pretty funny considering all the hype that was going on this year about steroids and baseball. But now I can't judge because I too am on steroids. Sadly I don't think they're the ones that will make me a super athlete so I can become a bazillionaire. I've had this weird pain in my leg for almost three weeks so I finally went to the doctor. He told me I have a pinched nerve and he put me on steroids to try and fix whatever it is that's causing the problem. I feel that my friends and family should know from the beginning that I am officially on steroids.

How many of me?

So I found this website that tells you how many people in the U.S. have the same name as you. There are fewer than 1,526 people with the first name of Breelyn and 164,827 people with the last name of Harper. Also, for my Hammer readers, there are only 21,367 people out there with the last name of Hammer. As of right now I am the only Breelyn Harper in the country. Don't I feel special!! Check it out. http://www.howmanyofme.com/

Bree's Brain

It finally happened. The Sparkies (Electrical Engineers at Icon) have been so impressed by my mental skills that they have cloned my brain. Ok, so they really just named the new brain board for the consoles after me but still, I thought it was pretty cool. They've been working on the new board on the computer for a few weeks and they finally got a physical sample in and it has my name on it and everything. The picture is kinda blurry because the print is really small and I took the picture with my phone.

They're Everywhere!

Not only are we sleeping in our living room, we also have spiders. Now in case you don't know, I HATE spiders. It's usually ok because I can yell at Nolan and he'll come and kill it for me. Sadly he wasn't home the other morning when I found this little sucker standing between me and my shower. Granted, I could've just skipped the shower, washed my face and thrown on a hat but I'd still have to spend time in the same room as this giant ugly thing. So I grabbed my shoe and tried to get up the courage to take him out on my own. But as I was getting ready to swing I panicked and started to think, what if it moves and I miss and it jumps on my arm? I abandoned the idea of using my shoe and went for one of Nolan's boots. When I finally got up the courage to attack it was no contest between the boot and the spider. After disposing of the body I started to think. Why are they coming after me? I thought Lisa was their target. Then it hit me. They think I'm easier prey! They'll take me out and then when Lisa is incapacitated from grief over losing the greatest sister-in-law ever that's when they'll strike. Look out Lisa!

Oh Obama, How I Love to Loath you.

Someone at work sent me a bunch of political cartoons about Obama but this saying by Lincoln was my favorite part.
