A few posts ago I mentioned that I had made my cousins cake. At the reception I hung out with my mom, Lainey, Jen and my grandparents. We were sitting at the table just chatting when I
noticed this.

Nothing too strange right? Look closer.

That's right, my grandpa was spelling with the decorative pebbles. I guess we just weren't entertaining enough for him.
In other news, we have sold all of our cute little puppies. In memory of them I'm posting some cute pictures of them just being cute.

So the puppies pretty much just sleep any and everywhere. The photo at the top is where they have all climbed under the desk into the back corner. You can only see two but the other two are even farther behind the desk. The boy had rolled out of the bed in his sleep and didn't even wake up.

The white girl was the last one left and after while I'd get ready in the mornings she'd climb into my bed. Kind of annoying but still super cute.

This is the only place high enough that Jinx could get to where the puppies couldn't reach her. She looks pretty comfy eh?
So Nolan's going to get annoyed at me for bragging about him but I'm proud of him so I'm going to brag. A few weeks ago Nolan went on a medical call with his sergeant. A 19-year-old kid had overdosed. Nolan and his sergeant did CPR on him until the paramedics got there. After he'd been stabalized at the hospital the doctors told them that if they hadn't done CPR when they did, the kid would have died. Nolan, being the great guy he is, went over his sergeant's head and nominated him for a Life Saving Award. Well Brigham City had their awards banquet on Friday night and we found out that not only did they give they Life Saving Award to Nolan's Sergeant, but they gave it to Nolan as well. He doesn't think he deserved it because he says he didn't do anything (ya right). Either way, I'm so proud of him. Even if he thinks he doesn't deserve the award, he does so much every day that goes pretty much unappreciated. How many people can say that they willingly do a job where they have to wear a bullet proof vest every single day for their own protection? He does it and he loves it. He does his best to act like a big tough jerk, but he really enjoys helping people out. I am very proud of my hubby for what he does every single day and I think it's pretty cool that he got a little bit of recognition for it.
