When I woke up this morning I thought Atticus was chewing on an empty water bottle. When I looked in his kennel I found this! He'd completely destroyed the first disc of my Firefly dvds. :-(
Later today Nolan and I made a quick trip to Macey's. We've been leaving Atticus out of his kennel for short periods of time because we want him to get used to being out while we're gone. Sadly he didn't do so well today. He pulled a book off of my bookshelf and destroyed it. We were only gone for about 20 minutes.
In one day Atticus destroyed one of my favorite dvds and one of my books. So ya, I almost shot him.

Isn't having pets great? Our cat has chewed holes in our nice new couch we bought when we got married and completely destroyed the underside of our bed. She's lucky she's cute.
I bet ya he gave you those big puppy dog eyes when he got caught so you couldn't kill him. You could be mad and angry with him but not kill him.
He just wanted to read like you Breelyn, It's just harder to turn the page when you don't have an opposable thumb! Instead you're stuck eating each page as you go! HeHe, That is also why I do not have big dogs. The bigger they are the bigger the damage! The most Zoe does is drag off a sock once in a while and hide it in her room! Whew. I don't think my dog would survive if it torn up my house like that!
Nicole, we cleaned out his kennel yesterday and he'd stashed 5 socks a pair of jeans and 2 t-shirts that he'd dug out of the laundry basket. Time for a bigger basket with a lid on it!
I would probably kill him too. That sucks!
