Really Stupid Day!!
So today wasn't the best of days. To begin with, I slept in so I had to hurry to make it to classes on time. After class I got off the bus and slipped on the ice. Not a slip and land on your butt, a full on feet in the air, land on my back type of slip... in front of everyone who was on the bus. Great right? Didn't hurt too bad, just embarrassing. So I make it back to work and Wham! I've officially been laid off. That was definitely the low point. It's kinda weird how quickly you can clean out your desk at a place you've worked at for almost 3 years. But I'm not the only one. Apparently they are laying off like 20% of the R&D Department. Stupid Economy. I know it sucks and I feel bad but it's actually kind of a blessing. It's only the first week of school but I was already feeling overwhelmed and contemplating quitting my job and just working part time somewhere. Now I'm eligible for unemployment and I can focus on school and training. We'll have to tighten our budget, but we were talking about doing that anyway. Now that I'm working past being upset about the whole thing I feeling pretty good about it. I'm pretty sad because I really liked my job and the people I worked with, but that's just how life goes. Now I'm looking forward to going to Chili's tonight and having Molten Chocolate Cake with my mom, sister and sister-in-laws. Chocolate cake fixes everything!!

Oh Bre, I'm so sorry. I was thinking about ya all day today. I'm still really upset about that whole mess. The mood at the office today was super sad. We'll miss you! I'm glad you are so positive about it though. Maybe it will be a blessing in disguise. Let me know if you need anything. Hugs!
Breelyn, So sorry to hear about your job. I hope it works out for you to focus on school and stuff. Hang in there.
I'm sorry for the lay off...but I think I'm happy for you! :)
Last night was fun. I enjoyed your mom and sister!
Sometimes the Lord answers our prayers even when we haven't voiced them.
Layoff? Now you can tell your grandchildren of the hardships you went through during the 2nd great depression. Oh wait...Obama is going to fix it. I forgot.
BREELYN!! I'm going to miss you!
:( I'm sorry that happend to you. But like Michelle said that it must be a blessing in disguise. I hope that everything goes really well for you and if you need to vent I'm here. :)
I'm sorry Breelyn. I love Bryan's comment...too true!
And I'm sure there's something in the works from the big guy upstairs, even if it's really hard right now. You'll make it!
And you are evil for putting that chocolate cake on here. It's sooo yummy!
