So Nolan's going to get annoyed at me for bragging about him but I'm proud of him so I'm going to brag. A few weeks ago Nolan went on a medical call with his sergeant. A 19-year-old kid had overdosed. Nolan and his sergeant did CPR on him until the paramedics got there. After he'd been stabalized at the hospital the doctors told them that if they hadn't done CPR when they did, the kid would have died. Nolan, being the great guy he is, went over his sergeant's head and nominated him for a Life Saving Award. Well Brigham City had their awards banquet on Friday night and we found out that not only did they give they Life Saving Award to Nolan's Sergeant, but they gave it to Nolan as well. He doesn't think he deserved it because he says he didn't do anything (ya right). Either way, I'm so proud of him. Even if he thinks he doesn't deserve the award, he does so much every day that goes pretty much unappreciated. How many people can say that they willingly do a job where they have to wear a bullet proof vest every single day for their own protection? He does it and he loves it. He does his best to act like a big tough jerk, but he really enjoys helping people out. I am very proud of my hubby for what he does every single day and I think it's pretty cool that he got a little bit of recognition for it.

Hey... I know a few that wear those bullet proof vests for a living! Good job though Nolan! Keep it up!
Here, Here! I am with you on that one Bree. There is so much that goes into being a cop that most of the public never knows about. He does a great job and I am also very proud of him and what he does!
I'm very proud of him too. I'm very appreciative of our cops! I couldn't do what they do everyday. Congrats Nolan!
Way to go, Nolan!!! I'm sure you deserve it and thanks, Bree, for blogging about it, otherwise I'd miss out.
Nice job! Way to go!
